BimmerWorld BMW CCA Race School 2025 Mid-Ohio
Mid-Ohio Sports Car CourseAbout this event
If you're interested in accelerating your driving skill development or considering advancing to the ranks of BMW CCA or PCA Club Racing, the BimmerWorld BMW CCA Club Racing School at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course is the event for you. The school is open to BMW CCA HPDE advanced students and instructors, as well as participants with equivalent driving experience from other recognized car clubs and organizations such as PCA, Audi Club North America, Hooked on Driving, Chin, etc. .
This BimmerWorld BMW CCA Club Racing School is hosted by the BMW CCA Buckeye Chapter at Mid-Ohio, August 2-3, 2025. Mid-Ohio is the favorite track of many drivers. With it's recent repaving it is smooth and fast.
Any car suitable for use in a BMW CCA HPDE event can be used. Participants do not need a race prepared car, and all manufactures/models of cars are welcome. It is recommended that you utilize all the safety equipment that you and your car have at all times. SNELL 2015 or NEWER HELMETS REQUIRED.
Successful completion of the school will qualify you for initial licensing with BMW CCA Club Racing, PCA Club Racing, Vintage Racing Group, (VRG), CASC-OR (Canada), and may qualify you for a NASA, SCCA, AER, or other race licenses.
The 2 day BimmerWorld BMW CCA Club Racing School consists of eight classroom sessions and eight track sessions. The classroom curriculum covers the fundamentals of closed circuit, door-to-door performance driving, competitive passing techniques, driver/race car preparation, and knowledge of BMW CCA Club racing rules. On the track, you’ll experience various passing exercises, driving three-wide at speed, green-flag practice starts, and a full simulated race exercise; all under the watchful eye of the BMW CCA Club Racing On-track Instructors. After each on-track session, the instructors and students review what transpired on the track. Sharing learnings, making observations and reviewing mistakes as a group allows for different perspectives and enhances the learning environment. A considerable amount of effort is aimed at the mental aspects of racing and not just the mechanics of moving the car around the pavement. The learning is accelerated, the driving is fast, and the experience is unforgettable!
In addition to the 2 day (Sat-Sun) club race school you can also signup for Friday. Friday is run using HPDE rules for instructors, A+ students and Club Racing School attendees.
Get your track friends to sign up for the school with you, or maybe you have some friends or family who are not ready for a club race school, but would love to do a HPDE on the Mid-Ohio track. Have them signup for Buckeye Chapter's HPDE at this event and enjoy being at the track together. For more information on the HPDE go to: Buckeye Chapter HPDE

Event requirements
You may register now. However, before being accepted to attend the BimmerWorld BMW CCA Club Racing School you must submit your driving resume (ASAP) to the Chief Instructor – Anthony Magagnoli at amagagnoli@gmail.com. If you’re not selected to attend, your payment will be refunded.
Your resume should include:
- Your current driver proficiency level (advanced, instructor and/or racer)
- Driving/racing organizations and tracks you have driven and total number of track days
- The type of events (driving schools, club days, open lapping, race schools, time trials, etc.) that you have run
- If you have been signed off to drive solo, how many track days you have driven solo
- The name and email address for two references (HPDE Chief Instructor, driving instructor, racing coach or licensed racer)
All track vehicles will be required to undergo a technical inspection prior to the event. Inspections must be performed by a qualified individual or shop. Self tech. inspection is acceptable. Please note however, this technical inspection is very important to your safety. Also, a good technical inspection helps ensure you have a reliable car; car breakdowns and not completing all of the track exercises will prevent you from successfully completing the school. If you are unsure of your ability to self tech. we highly recommend you use a qualified shop no more than 30 days prior to the date of the event. A technical inspection form to be filled out and a short medical form (similar to what you would see at a HPDE) will be sent to you along with other Club Race school materials.
Drivers are solely responsible for the safe condition of their vehicles, and for any damages to track property during the event.
