Get ready to join the BMW Car Club of America at the Savoy Automobile Museum in Cartersville, Georgia, on Saturday, August 17th, 2024 for the museum’s annual Connections Car Show.
First held in 2022, the Connections Car Show at the Savoy Automobile Museum includes 300+ open class cars on display for the show, and like any great car show, the cars parked in the spectator parking area are equally outstanding. Last year, 2000+ spectators enjoyed the event at the Savoy.

The Choo Choo, Heart of Dixie, Old Hickory, Peachtree, Sandlapper, and Smoky Mountain Chapters are each planning to attend, and together we welcome all BMW CCA members to come along for this fantastic event.

Who’s going from BMW Car Club of America?
All BMW CCA members are invited to the Connections Car Show! The Choo Choo, Heart of Dixie, Old Hickory, Peachtree, Sandlapper, and Smoky Mountain Chapters are each planning to attend and welcome all BMW CCA members to come along for this fantastic event.
How far is the Savoy?
Located at 3 Savoy Lane, Cartersville, Georgia, the Museum is within driving distance for many Chapter members from the following metro areas:
- Atlanta - 40 miles
- Chattanooga - 80 miles
- Huntsville - 137 miles
- Birmingham - 146 miles
- Knoxville - 175 miles
- Greenville - 175 miles
- Nashville - 210 miles
Can I enter my BMW as a display car for the show?
Yes, the Savoy Automobile Museum is accepting applications for display cars. Cars selected for the show will be staged in front of the museum entrance, with people's choice awards given for the top twenty cars, and one highly coveted Savoy Choice Award will be chosen by the event organizers.

Where will spectators park?
There is ample parking space on the grounds of the museum for spectator parking. The Museum sits on a beautiful 37 acre campus all dedicated to the world of automobiles. Last year, over 2,000 spectators enjoyed the annual Connections Car Show at the Savoy.

Can I tour the museum?
Yes, the museum will be open for tours during the Connections Car Show event. On display will be cars in five exhibit areas:
- Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum
- Moonshine Runners
- Prominent Packards
- Rad Cars of Savoy
- Savoy Collection
Will there be activities for children?
Yes, there will be a VROOMVILLE kid zone with lots of fun activities.
How about food at the event?
There will be food trucks onsite, and also the museum cafe will be open. Checkout the Savoy website for details, and guidelines for bringing food and drink onsite.

I’d like to arrive Friday evening or maybe even stay Saturday night. Where should I stay?
The Courtyard Marriott (5460 SR-20 East) and the Holiday Inn Express (5628 GA 20) are both located near the Savoy Automobile Museum. Make a reservation early because the hotels do fill-up quickly.
