Come on out and represent your country in the Can-Am Challenge! It will be Team USA vs Team Canada in a 2-event series: Mosport in July and Watkins Glen in September.

The BMWCCA Club Race at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (aka Mosport) is being held in conjunction with PCA. Come race at one of North America's premier and historic circuits, and the favorite of drivers in many series. This track should be on the bucket list of anyone who enjoys high performance driving. This year the schedule will include:

  • Two practice, qualify and a 60 minute enduro on Friday
  • Warm-up, qualify and two sprint races on Saturday (the feature race will be the second race)
  • Warm-up and a sprint race on Sunday

We'll be all wrapped up by 2:00pm on Sunday.

3 - Day Registration is $595 CAD (includes HST). That's approximately USD $460. Sign up soon! Your credit card will only be charged on the weekend of the event, and only if you attend and turn a wheel on the track, so there is no risk.

This year we’re ramping up the cross-border competition with the introduction of the BMW Club Racing Canadian-American Challenge. The Can-Am Challenge is a homage to the historic Can-Am series that spanned the Canadian and United States border from 1966-1974. Our Can-Am Challenge is being run at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, July 29-31, and Watkins Glen International September 23-25. A team-based points scheme will determine the winner and a special Can-Am trophy will be presented for the country that wins the challenge! This trophy will again be “up for grabs” in the 2022 season and beyond.

United States citizens will require a passport and proof of vaccination. Crossing the border is hassle-free. The Canadians Immigration Department employees are very welcoming and rehearsed at allowing race cars to visit the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.

The Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, opened in 1961 is a former Formula One Canadian Grand Prix venue and today hosts the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. It’s an extraordinarily challenging, 2.5 mile, 10-turn rollercoaster ride!

Watkins Glen International holds the same historic racing stature. Opened in 1956, this 3.4 mile, 11 turn racing mecca hosted the Formula One United States Grand Prix from 1961-1980. Today it hosts the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship - 6 Hours of Watkins Glen, and the NASCAR Xfinity Series racing.
