About this event
WELCOME! RMC BMW CCA (RMC) is thrilled to present our 2024 Summer July High-Performance Driving School (HPDE). This 1-day, school provides a unique opportunity for members to drive their car at speed and to experience the thrill of becoming one with your car. The school is open to all current BMW CCA members who hold a full operator's license that does not require another qualified party to be a passenger in the vehicle for the license to be considered valid. Any volunteer under the age of 18 MUST first contact our Registrar at colorado924@comcast.net for specific paperwork requirements.
Overview: This full-course HPDE is safe, demanding, and most importantly FUN! All students will alternate between classroom sessions and time on the track with an assigned instructor. Individualized instruction is a key to this program that has been developed over decades.
REQUIRED Waivers: There are 2 REQUIRED waivers for each HPDE. The first is the High Plains Raceway (HPR) waiver which you will sign at the gate. HPR will give you a wristband at that time. The 2nd waiver is the RMC SpeedWaiver. The electronic waiver should be completed BEFORE you get to HPR. It will make your check-in process faster, If you do not have it completed, you will be asked to step out of line and get it done onsite.
Liability and Insurance - ATTENDEES ASSUME ALL RISK OF DAMAGE TO PERSONS AND PROPERTY DURING THE EVENT. This includes times when instructors are driving your car. Your auto insurance policy most likely does not cover you or your car when you are on the track. While we have an excellent safety record, this is a high-speed event with inherent risks. By checking the "Accept" box below, you certify that you have read and understood the above-referenced Release and Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk and Indemnity Agreement
COVID Policy Update: RMC has adopted the following policies for this event based on local, state, and federal guidelines https://www.bmwcca.org/policiesandprocedures/covid-policy
- Face masks/coverings are not required, and may be worn at the discretion of the individual
- COVID-19 vaccination is not required to attend this event
