The event's on-site check in starts at 8am at the Performance Center on Hwy 101. As you approach the Performance Center, turn right into the first entrance, immediately keep right and drive around toward the rear of the building. There will be a sign pointing the way. Drive under the awning and you'll find us in the back. Please drive slowly and carefully. We don't want to start our day with the security staff already upset with us. Please arrive by or before 8 AM to get a parking spot and start cleaning out your car and whatever else you may need to do. We'll start registration inside, get waivers signed, give you car numbers, and start "tech" on the cars as you arrive. We check to be sure your car is cleaned out, your lug bolts are tight, your battery is in tight, and we check your helmet to be sure it's at least an SA2015 or newer. We have loaner helmets just in case you don't have one, or if there's a problem.

We'll have a driver's meeting when this stuff is finished and try to get you on the course as soon as possible. We run untimed laps before lunch to build familiarity with the track. After we break for lunch, we start the timed runs to pursue FTD. There are no car-classes or other categories, it's just you against the track and anyone else there with cars similar to yours.

If anyone is using a navigation system to get to the Performance Center, don't let it send you to downtown Greer and then back to the Performance Center on Hwy 101. This has happened several times in the past and will cost you much time and be significantly out-of-the-way. You want to get to Hwy 101 from I-85 and head north on 101 (toward the mfg plant). The center is about a mile on the right.

We have separated those of you sharing cars into separate run-groups. We have also placed the attendees from out-of-town into earlier run groups which allows you to leave earlier to head home. You don't have to, but you can.

We have quite a few "first-timers" for this event. Considering that, we will have instructors available to help you understand the track and help with any other questions you may have. Please make us aware if you desire an instructor or other help driving the track. We all remember our first time, so we are happy to help you understand the course and car dynamics anyway we can.

You are welcome to invite guests to watch the event. They will need to sign waivers and get arm-bands in order to be on the property. There are a few things they must be aware of. They do not park where you have parked. They must drive past the front of the Performance Center and park in the lot at the other end of the building. They then need to approach through the building or across the grass to find someone to get them a waiver and an armband. Anyone without one of our armbands will be delayed. They also need to be made aware of not getting too close to the track. There should be "coned" areas they can bring chairs to or stand and watch.
